    Guys, I spoke to Cowgal's South African friend, she spent 2 weeks with him in South Africa. He asked me to post his condolences here, he is very shaken! He is in touch with her family... They had a lovely holiday, and he will keep me posted. So sad... Too soon... RIP, MA!!! xxx

                I am so saddened by this. I hope MaryAnne has finally found peace.

                            I too am beyond words.
                            Cowgirl (Ma) has been around pretty much as long as I have.
                            It is so frightening. Life is so fragile. Alcoholism is horrific.

                              The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.
