Hello friends, I really have very little to say this morning, I am deeply saddened and shocked by that appalling news.

Mary Anne (username cowgal) was a long-standing member on MWO. I got to know her on the Meds Threads because she was also using it, but she participated in all areas of the site.
She was, in her own words, "ditzy" and a true blonde, but she was a peacemaker, someone who supported others etc. etc. I don't want to write an eulogy here...
She attempted suicide a few months ago and luckily pulled through. We all thought she was doing much better. When I woke up this morning, I saw a thread was started to announce that she had succeeded this time.I'll do whatever it takes

Army Thread 5 May 2010
Hello there Army,
I'm more of a regular across the road at the 'next day' but we have just received the wonderful news that Aspman and Mrs.Asp have welcomed their daughter to the world today,
So I thought it more appropriate to camp here for a while.
Of course I am delighted for Aspman but I'm still digesting the days news of 'cowgal.'
I only thought of her yesterday, wondering how her SA trip had gone,
I knew her for only a short time,
she was a regular on the 'Live Chat' and the 1st person that I connected with,
we had a common interest in horses.
I am just grateful that I actually told her that I liked her and liked talking to her.
Happy to be back

Yup - I saw the wonderful news of Aspy's bub - finally... I was beginning to wonder if the pregnancy was for real!
She was pregnant and overdue,
It was killing me, I was her support person (along with her husband)
And I had to moderate my alcohol intake in order to be able to drive myself to the hospital.
I started to drink heavily again because I kinda thought it was never going to happen
Fortunately I got the call at 5:30 am after a heavy nite and did not get pulled up for a breath test on the way and was able to pull off super support sister and everyone was happy.
Looking back I was such an Idiot and could have so easily let her down by being P***ed and unable to drive.Happy to be back
