I am quite possibly physically addicted.

I know I am mentally addicted, but didn't think it was physical. I quit when I was pregnant almost four years ago without any withdrawals and I had been drinking much more and for a longer period of time. Maybe I just didnt know the withdrawal signs. I have diarrhea and had some night sweats. Difficulty sleeping is a given, but I jerked awake a few times. This is reason enough not to go back to drinking. The symptoms are mild, but I don't want to have to need alcohol. Wanting it was bad enough.

yep it is a physical addiction have a look at the link that Jackie posted for you..
just gotta hang in there and ride it out.. it isn't nice time but don't be frightened..

it will get better.. have a look at the meds thread and go see your doc tell him/her what you are going thru..be honest with the doc..

don't be ashamed to admit your drinking prob..

you should be proud of yourself that you have the guts to face up and admit it

and want to do something about it...

that is a hard step for a lot of any of us us to do....

denial is toooo strong a thing..

it does get better.. I promise.. think about your babe.. you will be a better mum sober and healthy..
trust me I know from first hand experience of nearly loosing my son because of it..

and all the mums in the site, I am sure agree with that...:l:l:l
