Hi Army, warm in humid today at this part of the world. Jackie, why do you write your shopping list longhand style, is it a hobby? I remember at school we were first taught loose writing, and then joined writing, and now everyone is writing loose again.

i feel i should watch some football today. i have no interest in it but a local team is playing at wembly today. cup final or something. so there has been a mass exodus from these parts to london. its also the keswick to barrow walk, this is a 40 mile charity walk.. yes 40MILES. i did it when i was 19... i had no concept of how far 40 miles actually was.NEVER AGAIN. the runners get in about 11am... i will pop out later to watch the poor souls crawling in at 5pm. i think i got in about 5, and you get a token for 2 free drinks.... i was so pooped i didnt have them... WHAT!

and tiggs just to get my own on you for your hot summer BBQ's and pool in the garden days..

it's 28degs so far at 10am........

glorious blue skies and shimmering pond like seas.....:H:H

gonna go play in our big god's pool in a while with ollie on waterbikes...:H:H:H

hey jc, back to my football thing. i had an afternoon at st james park... sitting with the black and white crowd watching n'castle v blackburn (other half is blackburn fan). i found it pretty scary.. especially when he started cheering at blackburn scoring. but other than that had a great wknd in newcastle. stayed at the vermont hotel, cost a bloody fortune... and there was a premier inn round the corner (more my style, cheap n cheerful). this was in my drinking days so we did a trip round the pubs

Do you know Spuds, I haven't been boozing in Newcastle for years,even when I was drinking.

The Toon would have been ok with Blackburn but not the Sunderland word or the Man Utd word.
