Yeah there is the big reason of course health, but another aswell which is my wife (still officially my wife) will not agree to lower the mortgage repayments which ase now at 1,760 per month, I still have to pay the family home bills @ 300 per month and then the child maintenance, then my own rent and bills, leaving me with a grand total of 12 euro a month for oxtail soup and instant primavera pasta. And still don't get to see my son.

Glad to see all are doing well.
Wanna, that is horrible. Your mortgage is so high. Aren't the euros roughly twice U.S. money? I can't imagine having to pay that high a mortgage.
