thanks oney. i have the will of a jellyfish. found a skanky old filter and rolled a smoke. the filter had been out too long and lost its mentholy bit. 2 puffs and YUK!!! put it out and am on the lozenges. off the the link right now.Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

that quit smoking site is really good, it definately suits my way of thinking. apart from the yucky couple of puffs earlier, NO SMOKES FOR ME TODAY. i rarely smoke in the evening so i think thats me done today. think its time to focus more seriously on this. being diabetic, all the bad things about smoking are 3 times worse for me, how stupid am i to continue with this. also my dad is terminally ill will smoking related illness, seeing him shuffling about with his oxygen should be enough incentive to quit, (strangely enough it makes me smoke more).Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

smoke free today and i didnt go buy any more menthol filters so there is hope for the morning. still dont feel too confident but im reading loads on the quit smoking site to get my head in the right placeToday is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

ive not been good but i have been better. had a smoke without menthol and put it out as it way yuk (arent they all??). then found some menthol filters lurking about and smoked 2 roll ups yesterday. still have 3 left so i will prob smoke them today. im not buying anymore so if i want to smoke i will smoke the yukky ones, and hope i dont get to like them. looks like im still not focussed enough on this but i feel im going in the right direction.Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Hi All,
Well I have made it...30 days without a fag! I feel very proud of myself and I cannot even begin to describe how happy I am.
When I caught up with the gang at the meetup, I was aprehensive that I may have a craving at some stage over the weekend.
Cigarettes did not even cross my mind...not even once...it was fantastic, I could go down and eat breakfast with the others in comparison to the last time when I was smoking out the window like a lunatic in the hotel room.
This time I could even tell that someone had been smoking in the hotel corridor...my nose is that of a bloodhound at the moment.
However I am aware of Fallens warning of getting the Icky 3's so I am on my guard....I have to stay vigilant.....there is no way I will lose the battle now!!
The rewards are just too great to ever have "just one puff".
If I can do this...any single one of you can....I cannot stress that enough..I was the queen of failure....
