OK, I read ta pg 15 the other night. I have cut back by only 2-3, but putting them out 1/2 way. Must get rid of these poxy life & money sucking ba**ards!!....

We need our positive Captain Back her pronto!.... Send out the search party for Oney!....

Why do I get the feeling this isn't going ta be easy, ug!..... Must have a shift in mind perception!..... Need a plan!.....

Any body out there wanting to give up these nasty life & money sucking poxy feckers???

K9, ALL the lessons you have learnt about quitting Al apply to cigarettes. It took me a year of on-off to actually quit smoking - much like it has taken me a year of on-off to actually accept I have to quit drinking all together. (I'm a slow learner when it comes to addiction.) I'm trying to apply all the lessons I learnt from quitting smoking to drinking and I'm sure you could do the same in reverse. I had to surrender to the fact I couldn't have one cigarette, ever. And I had to tough it out the first few days/weeks/months. I also had to read a lot about nicotine addiction and the damages of smoking first. And come to view quitting a positive not a negative. This tiny iPhone App called 'Since I Quit' helped me too - once the days racked up I didn't want to have to reset it. It's been over 15 months now (see my cig) and I NEVER want a cigarette. I might have the odd fleeting *thought* of one but I never want one. I am SO happy to be free. You can do it!!! Believe me, if you can quit drinking, you CAN do it!

Hahaha..... That was the only feckin time I didn't smoke,( no I had two ciggies, somebody ran over my kitty :upset: ), didn't drink, nor drank much when they were little either, binging at parties... but, always over drank.... Would never put any woman down who did tho, saw many woman cry at AA who did. Gave them hugs & talked to them after. :upset:

Feck, thank goodness were pass that age!.... Knock on wood, as it's happened ta woman are age b4! Oh gawd, it would be a night mare now. Oh yes, I forgot I'd also have ta have sex, hahaha....

OK, I'll have ta start readin, & comin up with a plan.... Have business crap ta attend to, time, time, time....... :l :h

Hi Guys & Well Done To You ALL

Well, gonna start the no butts regime this weekend after going AF today AGAIN!!!!! Watch the Raining In My Heart Documentry & too be honest scared the living daylights out of me... So last of the Vodka finished yesterday, today a few withdrawals but pumping vitamins & dyrolyte!! & have downloaded the Jason Vale App for smoking.. A lot to take on but with a lot of people here AL & smokes go together so gonna really test myself... Also as a backup looking at other hypnosis apps.. Wish me luck..

Well I'm 248 days sober...so thankfully THAT Beast has gone to sleep (although he still wakes up from time to time...)

Yeah...let's call it "willpower"...some may say it's pure stubbornness! Just like drinking, this is NOT my first attempt, but I'm taking it day by day....no crazy cravings, thank the lawd!
