      I put up a calendar right by the door I used to go out of to smoke....each day I make it through (right before bed) I reward myself with a SpongeBob sticker There are 40 stickers in the pack...I'm looking forward to finishing off those stickers!

            Keep going folks....
            Make sure you put a jar aside and put all the money you would have spent on fags in it. Then spend it on something nice. (No booze. No fags)

              Great idea... though I am now spending $$ on nicorette gum instead.. but that is 1/2 the price of cigs and one box lasts me around 3-4 days as I only chew around 6 a day.. Day 2 NF so far.. I am ready for all these challenges! :yay:

                So far so good Katie, how are you doing today? Congrats on 2 NF days! I am at about the 27 hour mark. I have a work meeting tonight until about 10pm, so today will be fairly easy to get through. Everyone's doing great!

                    Oney, as usual a very thoughtful thread. I KNOW you will do this as so many of the other posters WILL. I am cheerleading from the sidelines. I have a lot on my plate right now so giving up completely will be difficult, but I will be reducing my intake for darned sure.

                      Thank you SK, Good to see you here...I honestly believe all the encouragement we are getting is helping so much and good on you girl to reduce your intake..Tigger is on a similar mission.....it's all good and a step in the right direction!

                      Ok slept like a log last night, woke up and chest was very sore and tight, I honestly felt like I had smoked a load of cigarettes last night...I am guessing it is some healing going on...
                      Got up and had that feeling of deprivation again that I could not have a smoke...then quickly switched that over and was happy with myself that I had an extra ten mins to relax this morn, I had a coffee and just sat for a while, instead of going outside and puffing 2 cigarettes in quick sucession while gulping my coffee.
                      That craving was about a 5..I am waiting for a big one to hit me and it probably will today but I am ready.

                      In great form this morn...happy with my decision...and over the moon that I have such wonderful support...being accountable is half the battle and the encouragement is worth it's weight in gold!

                      How are the rest of you NON SMOKERS??????

                        Hey again all,
                        I've had a successful day of not smoking today - yippee!! I have been chewing the Nicorette gum which is obviously working wonders.. feels so good to not have put any smoke into my lungs today..
                        Well done K9 Lover - you are doing fantastic, and so are you one2many!
                        Thanks to all our supporters too!

                              Yes good morning, was so tired last night that I went to bed at about 9 and slept till about now, have no cravings or desire for the cigs yet, I expect a 5 today too 123 and am ready for it, but I feel so healthy and am actually gonna have some breakfast, the healthy ktab kind
