I can relate...I knew you were talking about your child right away. I've been pulling in the wallet for the last two years. It's a process of letting go and letting them take on their own responsibilities. Mine is a year older than yours. They don't learn it unless we make them learn it, but it isn't easy sometimes. I'm getting much stronger at not letting guilt or manipulation pull me down the rabbit hole. Doesn't help them grow up anyway.
