Hey Mario - how's the weather there today. Did you get out on your bike? Lovely day here - this is a pic I took on my morning walk. Prickly-pear cactus in bloom. Ever eat those when you were in Portugal??

I love prickly pears. Especially when they've been chilling in the fridge.

We can buy them in trays, with all the thorns / spikes removed. All you need to do is peel them. Can be a bit difficult to get hold of, though.

Do you know which part of the world they're originally from?
