Yeah, Mrs. T smokes too, but she claims she's not addicted and can stop at the drop of a hat. Having said that, she's much like me: "not ready yet."

The thing with my smoking is: with AL, I NEEDED and WANTED to stop.

With ciggies, I know on an intellectual level, that I should be stopping... but there isn't the same kind of incentive...

I know what you mean...something just clicked my my head when I decided to quit this time.....I just don't want to be a slave to anything in my life, especially something that can hurt me, hurt my kids, make me look older than I am...steal my money, my health and my freedom..

I hated the hold smoking had over me....

It is so freeing to not have to even think about all the stuff. The lighters, how many you have left, when do the stores close, where you can or can't smoke, the tobacco crap stuck on your lipstick tube, mashing them in a pocket.
