    Army Thread 18th May

I've just been googling tylenol. It's paracetamol in the UK.

I can't take that, codiene or aspirin. Makes me tummy go all horrible.

    I have to take Ibuprofen
It could be worse, I could be filing.

Evening folks, what is the pain killer that people with dodgy livers shouldnt take?
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Ibuprofen also works for me, but we have an old-fashioned headache powder called "Grand Pa" - it is mainly aspirin, but also contains paracetamol & caffeine... I swear by it.

I know that can kill you by poisoning your liver with relatively small doses but I was thinking about which one in particular people with raised levels in their livers should avoid. I am off to google it.

Here we go "It is recommended that people with liver disease avoid using all NSAIDs. Acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) and other NSAIDs are drugs that are widely used for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects"
