That is for us as a couple.

On a more personal level, I simply want to continue on the path I'm now on. I'm discovering new things every day.

Tonight, despite getting home dog tired, I played a game of hide-and-seek with tickling involved with the cubs. I was standing on the TV room couch in my work clothes, waiting to pounce on them as they appeared around the corner.

I want more of that kind of experience, and experience them as the grow up and mature.

Phew! What else... there are so many things...

Mmmmmm. I agree with "making peace with your past" and have discussed this with KT before.

BUT: personally speaking, I don't think that should be where one starts... but it is most definitely step 2 or 3.

That doesnt sound very good Wanna.
The counselling process is an ongoing relationship built on trust. How can you trust someone who cannot remember a thing about you?
Can you not find another one?

Sorry if I'm being opinionated, but: you cannot possibly be getting much value out of a once-a-month session. I see my psych at least once a week for analysis and therapy. It is a helluva intense experience.

I reckon that guy knows what he is taking about
We need to accept our lives for what they are now and what they have been. We need to finally say, the past is in the past, things have happened that I cant change, but we have to accept that and make amends if needed.
I can totally accept I am only human, I have made mistakes, I have regrets but more importantly I forgive me. We need to think about today not yesterday for it is a closed chapter in this book we call our lives and move on to a brighter future.
