Hello Army. Sorry I haven't got caught up from yesterday but its a case of be careful what you wish for.... Had Dr appt yesterday and he kept me in cause he's worried about the way my legs swelling. Doh! Well lets get rid of this extra weight and we'll solve the swelling problem. Don't know whats happening tho as I haven't seen him yet today. Happy birthday Wanna. crawling in with my head hung in shame. blew it big style with vodka. IM SO BLOODY PISSED OFF WITH MYSELF. cant stop flipping crying. i suspected it was gonna happen at some point but was hoping for not such spectacular style. in a way im glad it happened now rather than further down the line. i dont have to wonder anymore I KNOW I CANT SAFELY HAVE A DRINK. my determination is stronger than ever. i felt so shit when i woke up, physically and mentally. i even considered having a drink to take the edge of my shit feeling... how fecking stupid is that. im not gonna say im back to day one. im 3 months sober tomorrow with one hiccup... albeit a bloody huge one. my lovely friend has just been round with a bunch of flowers and a detox cordial drink. that is so sweet after me turning up on her doorstep pissed as a fart. total blackout on how i got home, but thankfully i did. bugger this bitch called alcohol. im having a pity party today then back to being happy sober tomorrow. :upset:Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Spuds :l I know exactly what you mean about being relieved to know for sure you can NEVER SAFELY HAVE A DRINK and not having to wonder any more. It takes a lot of crap energy right off the table. So chin up, eat some good food, drink lots of good stuff, be happy to know for sure and carry on!sigpic
