Seems as if once the kids were out of nappies and a bit more grown up they decided it was how can I say more convenient to have their kids in their lives.

You'll find they've gone very quiet now.
I am sure you get a wide spectrum of different situations and it must be tough for all concerned. It is so much easier for the man to walk away and there are some right b**tards out there but the other side of the coin is when fathers are being denied access to their children. Can you imagine how that must feel?

Mr JC's finding that more and more fathers are getting custody these days.

                      Here is another then

                      Forever Fathers
A support group for divorced, separated, and unmarried (non-resident) fathers founded by two community workers who are separated fathers. They found that, in contrast to women in the same situation, there were minimal supports available specifically for men, and that separation often results in a father not seeing his children. Homelessness, financial poverty, social alienation and isolation, depression, alcoholism, drug-taking, domestic abuse or suicide, are all part of the picture.

A lad couldn't pay his maintenance so he went to jail for 60 days, went on hunger strike, not sure if he died tho, I was thinking about going on hunger strike but it appears you would go to jail for that too!
