            Hello JC and Tips and to all who drop by later...

            Had a rather productive day - cooked a lovely meal, dusted, mopped floors, got some ironing done and a bit of weed-pulling, made some strawberry jam and found a home for a stray kitten I discovered in the building site down the street. Someone must have dumped it there early this morning. Couldn't keep it myself or I would have. Mr. Stirly doesn't like cats much and especially black ones...
            Hope you can manage to get your pictures onto the 'puter JC and then to photobucket. Holler if you need some help....

                  Gawd, stirls I thought I'd Pmed you the news of me boobygram, sorry.

                  Crikey making jam, tried it but it's one of those things that I've tried a million times and just can't do. My last pot cost about ?15 by the time I'd bought all the jars, fruit etc. It set like concrete and had to throw the whole lot out.

                          I only made a big jar full. I bought more strawberries than we could eat over the next couple of days so half of them went into jam. One kilo of berries sliced - 1-1/2 cups of sugar. Simmer until thick. Pour into jars...easy...

                              I suppose I over complicated it by buying special pectin sugar and stuff, ruined the jam pan too
