    Found some AL in the house

    :shocked::wow:

    Yes I was looking for something in a basket I have in my hall and discovered 2 half-pint bottles of St Helier cider.

    So what did I do?

    I took a few minutes to decide then later got the bottle opener, took the lids off and poured it down the toilet. Why there?Because it smells a lot less than if you pour it in the sink!by the way that's an old tip of mine (loo rather than sink is less risky regards whiffing it and being tempted). Rinsed 4 times under tap and empties out into recycling box, tops in the bin.

    Wasn't tempted during this at all, simply treated them with the respect AL deserves.

    Well done for throwing them away... I can relate to the sink smell, I done it a while ago and it stunk!

        I drank that much cider that when I went to the toilet, next day the house would smell like an orchard!! Nice one blonde, especially treating alcohol with the respect it deserves.

              Awesome UK See what power you've developed? If I did the same I'd probably need a valium drip to stop the shaking. I'm getting there though!

                          Thanks everyone. Yes I'm quite clear most of the time and have some good reasoning/rational thoughts when I do get the urge. Finding the bottle was a surprise since I live alone and there were not many times when I needed to hide my drink(ing).
