    Army thread 27th May

I don't know though, isn't the beer belly one of those myths?! isn't it all the rubbish what you eat when you're drunk that actually makes you fat?!
    AF since 15th March 2010

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

God no, you should see the size of some of the Irish mens bellies. Stout is the most popular drink here and it is full of calories which happily go to live around the waist line.
Ethanol is a toxic chemical, why would I drink it?

Wow, yeah, I didn't consider stouts. We drink this light lager that runs down like water (SAfricans). I've always thought stout must make you fat. it's like drinking tar.

I've got a eating and drinking habit though problem is the one latter enhances the former occasionally. I mean, you won't have a slice of low GI toast with cottage cheese after a dozen beers, right.

Actually any one of my friends who drink a lot of beer would be overweight..
