What's up with so-called false labour pains? Is it just intended to make women even more apprehensive about labour???

All I can say is: thank feck I'm not a woman. I don't think I would have cut it...

Yeah natures joke, don't give you a clear sign your in labour, spend a couple of weeks taking a hand at you first. Ach well their worth it in the end............................well most of the time

Have thought about raising the foot of the bed slightly to ease the swelling? Mrs. T insisted on it towards the end of her pregnancies.

She claimed it helped.

I can only testify that I would slowly slide toward the top (but horizontally the bottom) during the course of the night and noticed weird things happening to my blood circulation...
