Beagos.
In times of debt, stress, crisis', the only thing to do is to step up to it, even when we just want a bloody break, and holiday away from it. Getting sober, like you are doing, is the best way, as you know. You've just got to nail it. Keep going for it. If you need to get away from everything and everyone for a couple of month's, then do it. This may be what it takes. If you can get off the booze in your current environment, then go for it in that environment. Use the land and nature as an energy too.
Great you're going for it. But you've really got to want it more than anything else, is my experience.

Thanks G.
Now for my Emmy award winning Stepford wife role. In Farm Wife, Year 14.
Pardon me folks,as I attempt to gracefully smile my way around an exquisite dinner,a crackling fire,a clean house & a witty/charming/accommodating partner that i know i should be.
Sarcasm should be duly noted.
Will check in when i can.
Thanks again guys.:thanks:

Well, must be feckin hard! Out in the bush, isolated on a farm, unhappy partnership, debt, stress, and trying to get off the turp's, and any turp's consumption undoubtably fanning the fire. Phew!

... and Missy alluded to it earlier. There are heaps of us with husbands/partners/SOs whose stories we chose not to include in the dialogue here because they can't speak for themselves. I reckon you don't need to live in the bush to feel isolated. Bet it happens on 4/102 Lygon St. Lots of us are unhappy but the booze exacerbates that loneliness 100fold.

Beags, you just don't seem like the Stepford wife to me. Far too sassy and smart for that crap. You are when you're on here anyway....what happens at home ?
I think you need to get in touch with your inner Beagle love.
Maybe it's time for the folk at home to meet HER ?If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?
