OK - what is that in English???

I do appreciate our eucalyptus trees, though: excellent wood for winter fires.

If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

I know veldgras well. Never realised it was an invasive species in Oz.

Its incredible what havoc we've wreaked globally with intended and unintended animal and plant migrations...

In Saffa-land our rivers have especially suffered with the introduction of carp species. No to mention the oh-so-fashionable world of trout fishing...

Can I come camel-hunting? I believe you have several 100 thousand of them...

I wonder if they will make good biltong?

              No no no...you don't take it personally....:H
It's a human thing ... we're all so heavily into control....that we don't/didn't think about gentle symbiosis and working WITH rather than against....there is a slim chance that we are learning our lesson....let's hope it's not too late.
In the meantime....your fecking veldtgras keeps me busy most days....can't be shaded out...need to spray (yuck) or hand weed , risking erosion.....
              Pull that hair out.....

I'll be back in a bit to torment you with my bounciness. For now, a few errands are calling and the slaves need to be whipped into submission.

Right then. I'm off to spend the evening with my boy....who is home made pizza'd, rugged up with pillows on the lounge....being interminably adored by extended family....
Nice work if you can get it.
                      Evening all.

                          Damm - missed youse all.

Just back from watching "Colour Me Kubrick". Got it because I love John Malkovich, but it was definitely not his best role.

Bridge - hope your boy gets a completely excessive amount of love and adoration. We all need it from time to time :H:H

Tip - sorry to miss you! Have been overdosing today on World Cup, South Africa, music clips, and those horn thingys (I keep wanting to call them Venezuelas but I know that is not right!!). I hadn't quite appreciated what a big deal it was for you guys. Spent some time during the week with some SA friends who came to NZ over 20 years ago for political reasons ...... but who now want to go back "home". Also have been reading up on large scale change and how lessons from SA are seen as the blueprint for the future.

Off to bed now - up at 7am to do my practice 10km. Had a hard session in the gym this afternoon, and my abs are making themselves felt :H

                            Evening,

Missy, the plank? Is that in a sort of push up position except you're on your elbows facing down and stretched out, with head and toes orf the floor? Yeah, easy.....kid's stuff.

And Beagle's sending me nasty p.m's......;-)

It wouldn't be Ron01, too many vested interest's, the Colonic irrigation folk? Nah, too much of the wacky christian's about em, bless em. A fellow med's threader? Who know's, but please, please, nasty p.m'er, you're wasting your time on other folk. P.m ME.....ME.....please? I will listen to you, and i will embrace you. All welcome, and i do not discriminate, or judge. I'm fairly busy these day's as it happen's, but i will reply to you when i can, and i will hear you. :h

A magical evening to all and sundry, especially my common folk friend's in the cheap seat's.

God I am SO going to the library to find a book along the lines of "Being Nasty for Dummies" & thus learn some severe bad stuff to send to mr g.
I'm sorry i seem to have missed you all.....Bets you still in? Just sent you a pm.
Evening in all truth guys sees me sipping my second glass of wine. Good news though ; merely reading a bit more & starting my drink tracker makes me think more & STOP now.
                              Thus it will be.
I will hang round for a bit too to try & work out how to load photos onto photobucket for Bets to see my lovebird, Lentl the Legend.
