Anyhow, I'm here now, what can I do? I know CPR, the location of most McDonalds stores,
and lots of other unsavoury stuff. I am not good at arguing with people 'I'm not here to argue with you. I'm telling you.' So you might have to explain things carefully to me, and I might have to write them down. I also have a reluctance to sign anything or say anything actionable in front of witnesses. I will have to be careful on this public forum.
Apart from those minor qualifications...shoot.
Well ...are you qualified to sort my head out ??
I'm joking of course, my dear boy. It is great to have you here though.
The rest I will eventually get through meself, I imagine. If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Bridget. I have survived the instruction of a Grandmother, a Mother, a wife and a daughter and have never understood any of them. Their minds run from East to West and mine runs North to South. Not much of a common interface I'm afraid.
They never wanted me to fix anything important (except for leaky taps and suchlike) - all they wanted me to do was listen to their whinges and say something sympathetic.
I can say something sympathetic if you like.
I have learned that it is sometimes easier to sympathise than actually do anything (like work for instance.)
