        Hi Wanna,

Well i've just seen it on Aussie new's, so it may well not be the sharpest of reporting. There must've been some kind of 'official apology' or something?

              Right -O all......
              What's going on ?
Have we all got a bit of the old Shit -on - the-liver ?
Well that's OK, you get that. Part of the being human thing.

There's got to be (at least) ONE THING that you can do today to make a difference to your life.(This is my fav game)

              I'm going to
              1. Not drink
              2. Go to the hairdressers for a tidy up. (just because I'm in the bush, doesn't mean I have to look like one)
              3. Phone my best-y in Qld, who's having a shit time, and make her laugh.

What are YOUZ all going to do ??? Eh ???
If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

                        Hey Tawny,bridge,IAD,Miss B....
Mmmm well yes the mental flagellation is in full-on mode.
You know that old Kylie Minogue song...."you did it again, you did it again, won't you listen to me when I'm tellin' you its no good for you.....you did it again...."
Getting up out of bed was a plus really. Could cheerfully dig myself a six foot hole, lay down in it & tell 'em to fill it up.
BUT I will log on here as much as poss to get some happy thoughts happening.

So,what will I do today to make my life better?
                        1.Not drink
                        2.Not drink tonight
3.Swear like tawny cos it makes me feel better
4.Dream of having a haircut too Bridge as i look more like Cousin It than a bush.

Good on you Beagle. :l It's crap when you feel like that and beating yourself up. Especially when you know that it doesn't make anything better at all. I not infrequently get caught up in a very defeatist circle, from which it is hard to even summon up the energy to keep trying.

I've learned some good swear words from the Army folks. Calling someone a pox-fecking gobshite is strangely satisfying. :H:H

And Tigger's travels are always good for cheering me up when I'm feeling a bit blah.

Or if you like cats, here are some TV clips from the SPCA free adoption day last week (in which Mr B and one of our kittens fleetingly feature!!) (they are sequential - one from Thursday night and one from Friday - and you have to watch the Thursday one in order to get the point of the story on the Friday one!)

my main purpose now will be to incorporate it somehow into my every day conversations.
as in Hello, my pox fecking gobshite husband, how are you today?
just realised too that by missing the "o" off "hello" it becomes "hell". man, what ponderisations.

                                Well hello Undies.

I've missed too much lately and don't feel the desire to go back over pages looking.
(But I will say I will miss you Spam and rather hope you will stay.)

So I'm going to plead ignorance or insanity and just say 'HI'

I had a lovely long week end.
My daughter and I 'hung out' together on Saturday (we always do but we usually ride)
giving each other manicures and pedicures and facials,
                                It was so special.

and Monday my daughter and my husband had a day together so that left my son and I to a day together, which we don't often do,
we went for a Looonnng, long walk in 'the' forest sharing lunch on the way.
                                It too was very special.

Work is full steam into that 'Headache' time of year,
                                anyone got a panadol
                                Happy to be back
