          Hey everyone.. I decided to come back and get some support again.. trying for the 30 days once more, day 7 for me today.. really hoping i can keep away from the grog this time! i hope everyone is well,

                I can remember a specific incident at uni. Nothing to do with alcohol, way before that was a problem. i remember walking along,with other students streaming past me, feeling like i waas in this void, a bubble almost, a vaccuum, where all i could hear was my own voice screaming, can't you lot FEEL me? don't you even KNOW i'm here? & this deep inner hurt.
                the point?
                heaps & heaps of people around me, but all i felt was alone.
                & that was when i was bout 20,way before i started drinking.

                    Another really destructive thing the booze does to us when unhappy, is it will often have us dwelling. Dwelling on stuff that we should've moved on from a long time ago. This is one of the big killer's, and self destructor's when in this mental/emotional state. It feed's on itself, and many don't and won't pull out of it. There can be a warped comfort in melancholy, or is that familiarity?

                            Things are going well.. I have a wonderful new man in my life who has been so supportive and helpful.. he's a non-drinker so its easy to not drink with him.. I am working still and have my son 6 nights a week.. on the waiting list for rehab still, but I am not sure if i want/need to go anymore.. I am feeling pretty strong,
