                    Thanks man. My dad is an alcoholic and drug addict. I think it had a lot of influence on things. I've seen how these things happen when the children are bigger. (he's got a child not much older then my own). I'm not having that. The bug stops with me... now.

                    Then it's so easy to blame my drinking problems on my genes though isn't it? My grandfather was and alcoholic too.

                            Yup: same kind of history here, with father, aunt as well as a grandfather being fellow alkies. And I agree: it doesn't represent an excuse at all.

                                Yeah. Well my dad is also in recovery now. It's an extra encouragement. I kinda want to stay sober in support of him and vice versa. What a sad thing to have in common tho
