The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

But my mom informed me that someone had posted some priviliged information on my FaceBook profile that I should quickly delete. I.e. about my emmigration plans. Now you need to know that my boss and I are friends on FB, hence he sees this sort of thing. arg.... I hope it wasn't to late. Otherwiese it could be a bumpy ride from hereon.

Good going, Johnny - sounds as if the move didn't go too badly! Still eating takeouts though, I guess?

Don't ya just hate it when people blab about others without thinking. I had to ask a "friend" of mine on Facebook to not talk about others in her posts cause it sounded like we were gossiping about the other people. She considered it simply a transfer if information but I didn't like it. Has happened a few times here as well - someone has been indiscreet and mentioned something in a post about another member that was told to them by that member in a PM. Not smart.
Hope you got to delete that info before your boss got sight of it....

Am I the only person left in the world who doesn't and won't do Facebook?

                      Rhetorical question. Carry on ...

(I'll offer $50 to anyone who can actually get O2M to eat some 'real' food this weekend)

Hiya Tawny. I'll bet no one wins the $50. :H:H

As for Facebook. I joined but mainly so I could see pics my sons post cause sometimes that's the only way I'd get to see their photos without waiting for ever. I have had a couple of cousins who asked to by my "friends" and when I accepted, they never sent a message or anything so I am still wondering why the friend request in the first place.... I deleted them from my friend list and that took care of that....such a :biatch: I am...

Most of my FB friends are MWO peeps.

Very few family (other than Mrs. T & SIL) or "real-life" friends - no co-workers, for example. Don't see the point.

Younger son and his "friends" get a little rowdy in their posts. I was actually a little shocked at some of the things they wrote - both the guys and the gals. Anyway, when I joined Facebook - he posted this on his wall....."The world as you knew it has come to an end. My Mom is now a member of Facebook... BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU WRITE...!!! :H:H
I thought that was cute but what amazed me was how many "friend requests" I got from my sons' friends. Didn't really expect that.
