The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

Caramelised onions - like an onion marmelade (with butter, brown sugar & balsamic vinegar), go very well with a nice juicy rare steak.
Traditional tomato & onion: excellent with boerewors. You just need to spice it up with a few cloves of crushed garlic, a dash of Worcestershire sauce, a bit of mustard, a squelch of Mrs. Balls, a pinch of curry powder, maybe some fresh chopped herbs if you have it (thyme, oregano, rosemary).
A herby mushroom-type sauce is excellent with lamb, since it won't overpower the flavour of the meat. Make sure that your pap is of a softer texture with lamb.I'll do whatever it takes

What my wife does, she fries small chopped onions, garlic, green pepper and frys it with the boerewors. That does the trick pretty well as well... It was delicious tonight is all I can say.AF since 15th March 2010
