Hi everyone. Ok, so i've been here in this family for a while now and i have a dream to write a book! I've been prayin and askin God to give me the know how to write and i came up with an idea to write a book about religion and alcoholism etc. Just a general cool for anyone needin advice and or wantin to change their situation. I had another dream last night and i was told to get stories from everyone here to include in my book. How would you all feel about emailin me a story. Anythin to do with your alcohol struggle and anythin to do with findin strength in God. Well along those kinda lines. Would you all be prepared and willin to let me use them in a book. In a month's time. So think clearly about your writin and what you wanna say. God has given me this to do, so please all i ask is that you pray before writin anythin you send to me. dizi, ill try and get something to you. i have a very boring story really. i kept a diary from 7 yrs old almost every day till my 30's so i can see the slow progression into the mess i ended in. ill just waffle a bit and see if you can take anything from it. it will just be words as opposed to anything composed, if you know what i mean. dont hold your breath for me but ill see what i can come up wihthToday is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

Diz, I've been asked so many times to write a book; don't know what's stopping me right now. Mine would be very different from what you're proposing, so no battles there! :H Writing, journaling, expressing ourselves is cathartic, so however successful your writing is financially, it will be wonderful for you emotionally. Don't know how much I can contribute, since my stories are tame compared to many. Can you go back and read the 'Tell Us Your Story' thread, and of COURSE!, protect the identity of everyone? It is an awesome read, almost incredible, but it is the truth in the barest way I've ever seen it. I'll send you mine, and would be glad to help in your endeavor!sigpic
