    I kinda figured. I'm not a sports fan at all. I do however know that tonight is the last Lakers/Celtics game and the Masters has started (or getting ready to). That's the extent of my sports knowledge. :H

    (Not that I'll be watching any of them!)

      Cool K9....It's funny that the US and Canada are about the only ones that call the sport soccer....the rest of the world call it football ! ha! Of course you know what our football is all about. Had a couple of buddies in high school on the soccer team...that's why I kept up with the sport. IAD

        Don't know anything about any of it - American football or this kind - but what I will say (because I have to get a word in edgewise no matter what) is that these 'soccer' guys seem to have to run further and for a lot longer than their 'football' cousins. And the field looks larger? (or is that just my amnesia flaring up again)

        And I'm still rooting for Canada...

        (I'm leaving now before someone beans me with a vuvu.)

            As I posted on another thread, Greece beat Nigeria at the world cup just a while ago. I thought it was a very good match, quite fast. Watching the game was made even more pleasurable by this young man... a little eye candy for the ladies (Note that I usually don't pay much attention to younger men but this lad caught my eye.) He now has a shortly trimmed beard and hair is a bit longer. BTW he's 6'4" tall. This is his facebook link Georgos Samaras | Facebook and this is one of the pics from his photos...a nice looking young man, I'd say.

                        Actually I knew along what sport we were talking about. I ADORE soccer.....played all thru jr high, high school and college....set all sorts of records....
