KTAB we once had neighbours who were from a country where it is customary to name your first son after your father. The family had 10 kids, 6 of whom were boys. Eventually they all married and had families and every one of them had a boy - named after the grandfather. So when the family was all together there were 7 males who all had the same name.....

There is a similar tradition amongst Afrikaners in South Africa. Probably explains why I avoid family get-togethers...

I had neighbours who called their kids wayne, shane and elaine.
Oh and I once knew a girl called Teresa Green.

Olloe must bge looking forward to his hols? The cubs started their almost 6-week holiday on Wednesday. At least they brought home good report cards, so they won't be getting the evil eye from Mrs. T or me.
Ollie gets 12 weeks hols for summer....!!!!!

sadly he's gonna repeat this year...
but at least he will be starting in a new school in september,
so it's not as bad as staying down in the same school where all the children know eachother....

I've had to go through life with a bunch of nicknames... Only my work colleagues and Mrs. T address me properly, it seems...

That's excellent, Jan. Plus you'll be able to give him lots of personal time when he's with you to make sure he gets through the next year with flying colours!

                              yep thats a cert..
I believe, and have told "them" that Ollie found it hard to do homework in the centre coz of the distractions from the other children..

when I go for weds visit, I help him with his homework and several times I have complained to the carers that it is imposible to hear ourselves talk let alone think with all the commotion going on....!!

god knows what it's like the days I'm not there...!!

at least it's just about over now..
was thinking of getting classes during the summer for ollie..
but NO we deserve 12 weeks happy times together..
I will help him once he's back to school...
he's very clever actually.. finds maths as easy as hell..very logically minded..
                              (like mummy)...
