        Alrighty, folks.

I'm just going to bake the rotis quickly - the curry is ready.

Bridge: I really hope I don't see you here when I get back. And I mean that in the nicest possible way :l

If your 8 year old self met you, would they be proud?

Exercise has fallen by the wayside now that its winter and we get home in the dark.

But I did mow the lawn yesterday (the fecking slave didn't turn up), plus cleared an overgrown area and pruned the hydrangeas (not sure if its the right time, but what the hell).
Your seasons are more closely aligned with ours than I thought....
Hence...yes tip prune your hydrangeas....take them back by no more than one third their size, and prune out old dead wood...

No, no need. They can't do anything I didn't make Hubs do for it.

well i really felt like drinking this afternoon.. stoooooopid. I DIDNT. other half was cooking a roast which always involves a bottle or more of red.it doesnt normally bother me but for some reason today it did. i did the fast forward thing in my head. in this scenario he had had his wine, enjoyed his meal and chilled out for the evening. i drank the wine, drank more wine, didnt eat my food, became annoying, forgot to feed the dogs/cat, spilt wine everywhere, got depressed, phoned and txt people with bollocks, passed out, woke tomorrow feeling shit. GOOD REASON NOT TO HAVE THAT DRINK
Today is the tomorrow i worried about yesterday and it turned out fine

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.
