yep I saw on FB your studing was giving you grief..

don't you take anything for sleeping ??
it's such a bummer when you can't

I take those anti histamine tabs and valeriana alternate nights..
seems to be working..I still wake during the night, but manage to force myself back to bed and do fall back to sleep, but wake up very early, but not feeling too bad..
I do have a little siesta in the afternoon tho..
Ollie's got into siesta's now as well..
he says"come on mummy siesta time..come for a cuddle up"..
offer I can't refuse...!!

No Jan I have 4 weeks to get my assigments in. I had a tutorial last night which will help and I am meeting up with a mate on Saturday so we can put our heads together.

I think my lack of sleep was partly to do with living on coffee all day yest
Bad Starty! No water just caffeine all day. My fautl
Ollie is a darling and he has the right idea!!

ooooh yep the devil caffine..
I did that the other day..
I've started to prepare my coffee pot the eve before
and just press the button in the morn..

but the other day it ran out so I made another and drank all of that as well...
tooo much, couldn't sleep at all, was tempted to take extra tabs..
but didn't would've been stupid to start going down that road...!!
plus too much coffee gives me a headache I find..

Larry is doing really well
I been walking him on a harness and he seems just normal out there. We havent met any dogs yet though.
What a relief
He has his drain out tomorrow. Not looking forward to that
He is petitioning now for a walk :-)

Just saw your post now, Starts. Glad to hear that Larry is coming along nicely.
We met 4 stray dogs on our walk with Freddie this morning. We were just walking around a bend in the road and suddenly there they were in front of us. Luckily when I bent to grab a stick, they ran away. That movement gives them the impression that you're going to throw a rock or something at them and they usually run away. It always scares me tho' cause if they decided to gang up on us, Freddie would be ground meat in no time.

Another cold wet day in my neck of the woods. Snow even in low-lying areas around Cape Town.

Glad to hear Larry is on the up-and-up

Tomorrow is a public holiday in SA (Youth Day). Luckily they're not forcing over 40s to go to work anyway

Too bad about the weather Tips, but it is winter after all. I'd send you some sunshine if I could. We're in the middle of a mini heat-wave. Supposed to go up to 37C today and then drop a bit and back up on the weekend. Just before 10am here and still not that hot but by 4 this afternoon it will be. Seems like we're never happy with what we have. Anyway, you have a day off tomorrow so can sit by the fire..
