Yay - thanks everyone! I'm just thrilled to bits!
Phew - my daughter and I both said at the same time: "Let's not do that again real soon!" :H
Unfortunately, the peanut still hasn't nursed yet and has hardly been able to keep down formula. He still seems very mucusy. Howevery, his blood sugar levels are still ok, so we're just hoping he'll get rid of all the crap soon and start nursing.
He is a beautiful little guy, though (seeing, that I'm totally objective 'n all :H)... and I had a bit of a flash-back. The upper half of his face (well, almost down to his bottom lip, actually) looks exactly like my daughter did! :heart: And he should lose the cone head within the next few days - poor thing's top of the head is bruised from the suction cup
I got to lay down and snuggle with him in the wee hours this morning when my daughter took a shower. Wow, there's just something about holding a newborn, eh? Almost makes you want to have another. I said ALMOST, right!? :H
Anywho - I'm still pretty bushed - had little sleep the last 48 hours but at least I can take legitimate nana naps now! Whohoo!Okay, WHO put a stop payment on my reality check?
