      if i am not mistaken oney,i think you can get the sardine pate over here in one of the supers ?? dont know which one as i am not a frequent visitor,but i will try and find out.

                      I had to look up Alan Plater. Nearly fell over when I saw what he'd written. I didn't know he'd written The Beiderbeck series of books. I just read them.

                        Isn't he terrific? I love the Beiderbeckes. Why I was thinking of him was because he also wrote the screen play of "Oliver's Travels" and I was wondering whether we had any members in the Orkneys to send Tigger to?!!!! :H:H My other favourite of his is "The last of the Blonde Bombshells" - set in London in the war years about an all-woman swing band.

                              I've already posted on the Underoos thread but want to add again that it was a very enjoyable match and Mr. Stirly and I so wished that the All Whites could have managed just one more goal. The NZ goalkeeper BTW did an excellent job...
