There was an issue the other day when peoples servers went down and some wondered if it werent' the subs section.

There are thousands of us who use this site and a goodly number than that who have subscribed. I have heard a prolific poster who wasn't a sub saying it's all about the money.

Who maintains the site, keeps the lights on etc. it's not all for free Roberta has bills too. Please remember this when you become part of this winderful site who has helped so many,

Thanks for the acknowlegment Jac. When I started there were maybe 300 members and now there are about 8000 members just using General Discussion. Not to say that's wrong, but just sayin". Roberta started this site to help people from her own experience. It was only when the site evolved to huge numbers that she asked for membership. However, membership was only an option, she still opened the site to anyone who was suffering from alcohol.
