I went thru a nightmare with my daughter in her adolesence...
shit that is too meek a name for it....
she was like the girl from the Exorcist....
I didn't recognise this evil rebel....was that my little girl......???????
she was hell on legs with a female dangerous shape developing....!! and she knew it..!
went on over a period of 3 years.... right at the time I was in my own personal crisis.....
my mum died and couldn't go to UK to see her before she was buried or even to the funeral,
the ex was at a physical & psychological hieght of his abuse...
started menopause & my older son was in canada with his dad and was having lots of problems with him and wanted to come back home..and I couldn't help him,
Ollie was only three & half.. so he had needed me as well...
I drank even more...!!!
it was not the solution..that was the start of my downfall......
Limers if you read this, fuck the drink put it down..
this is the time your son needs you NOT to drink, even you may think he doesn't give a shit or will notice you are ...

and the problem will only get worse....
you will get angrier and lose it...
it's very hard, but they do come out of it..
my girl is now a beautiful well manered intelligent young woman studying phsycology and starts university next year, she is a qualified life guard and is going on to martime rescue to work at while she studys...
they do come thru it... just you hold on tight and roll with it, but don't hold him down too tight, he will buck even harder..just set some gentle ground rules, so that he can't say you are being unfair and don't understand him..
the tighter you hold him the harder he will fight against you....!!
and yes, be there for him...even if you wanna just strangle him....!!!Comment
