    Underoos Friends-July

    Morning all!

Well done on day 9 Waves, and great going on day 6 Boycie!
Boycie, why does your mood show 'doubtful'? Are you concerned with this weekend's adventure's?
I couldn't do any of that socialising lark for at least a couple of months, till i was strong and committed to my sobriety enough. Hope you have a great time whatever you're up to.

Happy POETS day folk's, and may there be pussy galore!

No need for apologies IAD - James Bond is one of my favourite fictional characters. Well, we all need our distractions dont we?! I have several James Bond fan club type books on my book shelves, plus try to collect the early Pan edition Ian Flemings when I can find them cheap! Plus I just love the fact that the movie rights are still owned by the Broccoli family :H:H:H:H

IAD - i was a huuuuge horror movie fan when I was younger! Plus I read all 'Stephen King' novels by the time I was 20... not anymore though, my tastes have changed with age and I prefer comedies and adventure stories now!

'Stephen King'... loved them. i loved the treats for the fans he put in, did you notice?
many books had the same charicters/places at diferent times, policeman, chemist, postman. they would die in one or be a vampire or something, only to turn up in castlerock in the next book fine and unexplained...i always used to giggle and think to myself ' self, casual readers wont notice'. I read ALOT as a teenager.

she has been off her food for a couple of days, but the weather has been crap and we've all had cabin fever. Yesterday Mr B's son found her in the bathroom with breathing difficulties and they rushed her straight to the vet. Vet thought it was pneumonia and gave her anti-bs and steroids and thought she would be home this morning. This morning they rang to say that she wa not rallying and they think it is something else that I cant pronounce or spell. But to do with having inhaled bacteria from birds (this cat is a hunter). Have spent the last 2 hours with her, just stroking her, but she is pretty out of it. Have told vet to not to prolong the agony if necessary.

But I love this cat to bits .......

I'm sorry to read this. It's a horrible position to be in - not wanting to prolong the inevitable but hoping like hell it's treatable. I feel for you, Missy. I lost one of mine a few weeks ago. It sucks.
