Haven't had the 4mm steamer on yet (The water was the same temp as the air in Indo!)

But no, I'm not a girl, so planning an Arctic surf next weekend..

The surf is much bigger and cleaner in Winter in Melb but it WILL no doubt be a shock to the system!

            G'day Waves and Reg!
Even though i have ball's of steel, i would still require a couple a mil extra for winter.
I've still got me short board, and call me crazy, but i'm goin in! :l

It's a 3/4mm suit, so body is 4mm and arms legs are 3mm..

It's made of super stretchy magic material (Hence the $600 price tag)

And it has more than an adequate pouch for the size of my manliness, in super cold water (You know what I mean!)

When me and my mates get out of the water in winter, we refer to our things as "Tic Tacks"

Dunno, but i file my nails down on a footpath, or a bit of rough concrete. Is that gay? I mean, that is a sort of manicure, non?

Hey Waves. That extra stretchy material. Does that make a steamer easier to get into? I have struggled in the past getting the right size/fit.

MR G, it's super easy to get into (I usually squirt talcum powder in my shoes before I go surfing though) sweaty feet makes it difficult...

Getting it off when your hands don't work is rather hilarious however, super stretchy means it sticks to you like glue, always a shit fight getting size 12 feet out of the skinny leg bits...

It's so cold in Winter, it truly feels like someone pouring boiling water over your head on the first duck dive under a wave...
