But true supportive friends are important. I think that's my point.

Oh yes, i know the type. Fortunately for me, that pressure, or scenario doesn't really present itself, as most of my friend's are village idiot's.....;-), but i've seen folk outside my immediate circle of friend's expect that sort of performance. I was yer quiet sort of drunk, telling stories in the corner.

Yep BBBJ, (you hate that don't you!) true friends are the ones we've got to stick with, and i'm making the effort now sober, to cultivate, and strengthen those friendship's. They are so important. Not many folk understand me, and the few that are willing to try, and be there, are priceless to me, so i try to give, give, give, to my friend's.
