I do have a personal god. Goddess really. Pallas Athene 'she of the flashing eyes.'
I have no time for the rest of them. There are just too many and some of them are a bit dodgy. The johnny-come-lately Christian gods and saints etc. do nothing for me.
I also have quite a bit of time for all the buddhas (although they were humans and didn't believe in the supernatural) they did speak sense and thought clearly.
Every time I read their writings it improves my thinking.

well seeing as all those humanoids "blessed" with a penis have finally gotten the feck outta the house having played a round of Wii golf,watched numerous replays of some stupid AFL, a shit-load of dissections of said stupid AFL games, I finally have some time to get on here & say hello.
Seems some weird shit happening.
Tawny is using lots of smiley faces.
Bluey is mega-rich & a buddhist.
Mr g wants to hug strange men.
Ficks is worried Mr G is serious about the bus.
Reggie had an acid flashback.
Miss B is training for Rocky X.

Ah well.
I too am bored shitless but am dragging sorry arse out to ride my mare daily.
getting some husband free time this weekend which will be great.

Evening all

Well after my 5 week holiday in Bali, I decided it was detox time..

Now 5 days sober (with a little help from diazepam, which I am tapering off nicely)

There is an AA meeting Tonight at 8pm, about 100 meters from my front door...

I have never been to one but am considering it..

What do you all think?

I know this is a stupid question... It couldn't hurt...Just feel a bit nervous about it..

Could always drop 5mgs before I go..lol

I have one of them too. A Goddess that is. She also has flashing eye's to be sure, and is Queen of the Agean, and other sea's. :h ......sigh
