North Africa is as far south as I have been Jacq. My brother lived in Squidney for 8 yrs but I never got over to visit. So you ok?

I'm ok.
Just quite difficult these 1st couple of days until my highly strung husband works out how to relax and be on holiday.

I am wrecked took the dogs to the beach early this morning and just kept walking. Decided after two hours it was probably time to turn back. Only saw 3 people in the whole time I was there.
Hiya Hippy lovely to see you again. Middle of summer here, bit overcast but warm, well about 18-20C which is warm for us.

Enjoy Cairns. I went about three years ago. Loved it.... loved the bars!!

Doggies sleeping now. The single rail line runs very close to the sea and I past a lovely old restored railway cottage I didnt know was there. Complete with iron wall name plate and date 1855 on the chimney breast. Couldnt hear anything but the waves crashing and the all the birds in the wetland marshes, which are the other side of the track. Must be an idilic place to live. Apart from the odd train though.

Ktab that sounds fantastic. Just like something out of a story book. Talking of which, I am going to grab my kindle and read. Amazon must have had a meltdown this morning as when I was downloading books, they were all coming up as free. So of course I downloaded as many as I could that appealed to me. So got lots to read now.
