Back in my hitch-hiking days it was "No root, no ride". The only time I ever heard it uttered was in northern Queensland.

Been for my swim although not as early as intended. Possibility is very much on my mind today having had a fabulous run yesterday and an absolutely glorious (pool) swim this morning. The dates for the triathlon series that I am aiming for came out yesterday and are in my diary, and I'm actually starting to believe in my ability to do them. A little glimmer of self-respect is starting to take root again .........
