Girly you will have to have a plan in place before you go to the pub so you can leave at your own time as we all know what it is like to be stuck around people drinking, just saying when i was so early into this journey like you, you wouldent get me near any social functions that involvoled alcohol, sets of to many triggers and pressures,But that was me, hope it goes well

That was me too, mario. I avoided anything to do with alcohol for at least 30 days probably longer and I sometimes still use the arrive late leave early strategy.

thanks guys. i'll be ok. the meal is six pm and it's a schoolnight. my youngest goes to bed at 7:30/ 8pm so i have the perfect excuse to shoot. plus, i know when i take the car, the decision is made so it doesn't bother me. hubby is really guiding me too, so it's all good.xx

We also use it as a fund raiser for the children's heart unit at the hospital here, we do it every Euro Cup final and World Cup final since the daughter had her heart operation in 1991
