Yeah. For sure that. Nothing like a nice sea breeze.

    I can't say when I've last been for a 4 hour walk. ..... ahem......... I don't think I've ever been for a 4 hour walk thinking about it :H

I really need to get walking again though. Definately the healthies form of excercise!!

The journey is the goal. As long as you're fighting the good fight and you're not giving up on giving up, you're winning. It's not about how often you get knocked down, it's about how often you get up again. Sobriety the goal for sure. But striving to get to that goal is what it's about. Not getting there. Because the journey never ends. The journey is the goal.

:boohoo: well my gym membership has run out and no way I can afford to renew it, so walking it is and the occasional trip to the pool :boohoo:

Haha. I'm in exactly the same boat though. My gym membership expired last month (and I only went maybe 20 times in the past 12 months, max). I won't invest in another year. I can't afford it and realisticly I've never kept it up anyways. So walking it'll be.

I have done quite a bit of walking this past 3 weeks though. From the train station to teh stadium and back. Don't laugh, it's 2,4km's either way, so that makes it about as much walking in the past 3 weeks as the preceding months in this year probably :H

          Better times will come Ktab!!

Haha. I was tempted to say something Ktab, but not brave enough :H

I hope the Uruguayans get what they deserve. Blimmin cheaters. Thierry Henry would have felt at home in the team, don't you think?!!!

With a defense that uses their hands to keep the balls out of the goal and a man upfront that scores the goals with the hand, they would be invincible.

Thats good my man, it all helps. I jumped in big time to the gym and swimming when I came here first going up to 6 times a week. Was still going 2-3 times a wekk up untill membership ran out. It really makes a huge difference imo. Total advocate of it in trying to keep sober. Better times might come sooner if I chase more work but cold calling is so depressing and I am not cut out for it.

I feel you. Not much of a cold calling fan either. it's depressing. You got to have an ultra thick skin. And I know I don't. Ppl tend to get to me at times.

I had someone professional doing it but cant afford to pay the wages now and they wont work on commission only so its a vicious cycle.
Rather talk about footy tbh. See Ces Fabergas is an injury scare for tomorrow, prob wouldnt have played anyway.

yeah. Even though I think that he brought a lot to the table when he finally came on against Paraguay. The momentum of the game just seemed to change slightly. He's a great player. A shame he didn't get more playing time in the World Cup and will fly back home tomorrow night without having had the chance to show his worth.

Torres has been dissappointing. I reckon if it wasn't for Villa, Spain wouldn't be more then an average team. He's done all the work.

Torres is a class player when on song, lets just hope he doesnt find his form again tomorrow.

yeah, hopefully Torres won't find his form. But he's really not looked any good in the games. i reckon Germany to march on. I really can't see Spain clinching this. They've not quite been in the form everyone's expected them to be. Fair enough they got as far as they did. But not convincingly though. (I would say the same if this was Holland playing Spain and not German)

Well what do the girls expect of us, leaving the barracks empty like this. Boys will be boys.

It is going to be close game, Spain are Euro champs and apart from the Swiss mugging them are unbeaten in how many? 20 odd. Expect Germany to win but Spain are a top top side.
