    Sheri, if you are needing a break then, best to you as you take it. I hope you will return as your posts ARE indeed honest, respectful and helpful and I believe everyone benefits from them even if it has to be on a subconscious level. (I don't think all present are necessarily conscious ) May the force be with you!

      And I thought all of you were here just to flirt with one of the other members on his post and use this site as a social forum. I didnt know you were here to judge people as well. When I first came here, we were all able to be open and honest with our past ans no one judged. I guess that was back before you people showed up. Very disheartening to know that people will now be judged on their actions because of this new generation of socialites. you have upset so many new and long termers because you want to make negative comments.
      Why dont you just go back to your favorite thread and let us who are dealing with alcoholism be. We came here for support, not the holier than thou mentality.
      BTW, your attack on RC is unfounded, she is not drinking while posting, but then you dont care about truth and compassion do you.

        Sheri, I hope you don't leave completely. I value your posts immensely. My take on all this is that if what is being said upsets you, then DON'T READ THE DAMN THREAD!! As we say on a number of email lists I am on: The delete button is there for a reason-use it if you can't say anything nice or contribute constructively to the conversation. We don't have delete buttons but I hope you get my drift.
        It is very easy to see who is posting drunk and it is best to ignore them completely or block their posts all together if they continuously get aggressive or write nonsense.

        Sorry, Mama, I don't agree. This is a very important topic and it is worth upsetting a few people. I am still very much a newbie and although reading these posts has been uncomfortable at times, I have to read through the BS to get to the wisdom and the message.

            Hey all,
            My guess is that we all need to address any concerns raised here, mostly 2 ourselves?
            This is very valuable stuff... strong stuff... the balls of something for sure, or we wouldn't all have our bristles up..?
            Let's keep listening... keep talking... most of all keep sharing... this is the safe place to do this, I've always found... sometimes the waters get choppy for sure...
            Let's ride our own waters & then compare notes ?
            As the ripples settle we can make sense of things again, re-draw our battle ground..
            And let it not be against each other... Let's keep our eye on the target eh ?
            Is only us against the world after all, hehehe
