      Morning mario,

I know you like street view, stirls. I know when you've been peeping over me back fence.

it's hissing down here, Tips and I don't know what the temp is cos I'm not going in the garden to see how cold it is cos I'll get wet.
It could be worse, I could be filing.

        Hi again Tips. Hello Mario.

Jackie if it was raining here right now, I'd run right out into the rain. Love walking in the rain even when it's cold. Don't tell Oney I said that....

Mario, I'm gonna go for a drive myself today. Now if only someone would pay me to do it...

Jackie, I wanted to learn to drive ever since I was young. I can remember sitting in the car when I was barely big enough to see through the steering wheel, not over it, and pretending to drive. When I was 15 my Dad taught me where the different gears were and I would practice shifting gears. When I was just over 16 I got my beginners permit. You could drive a car but had to have a licensed driver in the front seat beside you. It was well into fall when I got the permit and my Dad would take me out on the country roads to practice. Soon winter came and he still took me out for drives. His logic was that if I learned to drive on the snow then I would have no problem on the dry pavement. He insisted that I learn how to park properly and also how to change a tire, check the oil and battery and how to check the spark plugs. It was a good thing because some years ago I had a problem with the car and it turned out the spark plugs needed to be cleaned so I did it and got the car running properly again. Still love driving after all these years. Not so much in traffic but a drive in the country is pure pleasure for me. Especially with some good driving music on...

I'm not a very good passenger either tbh, I'm forever hitting imaginary brakes. I once drove nearly 2 miles with a flat tyre and wondered what the noise was so I just kept turning the radio up.

Oh Jackie, I consider myself to be a pretty good driver and I do try to be careful but I am a lousy passenger. My older son especially gets annoyed when I ride with him. I try not to show that I'm tensed up but my foot keeps hitting the brakes without meaning to. It's just a reflex reaction. He drives really well but too close to the car in front for my comfort and thus the constant braking on my part. Sometimes I just put my head back and close my eyes so I can't see how close he is to the cars right and left when going through a narrow space. He knows his car so well but I'm always sure we're gonna hit something. I'm much better when driving by myself...

Later, Mario. Have a great, safe day....
