                  Food for thought here people ! opinions are just that , relevant to the individual , I believe this site has numerous functions and to my mind as long as its helping memebrs in what ever way , thats good enough for me !

                  Live and let live is my motto , and let you be you and me be me !

                  Chill you continually inspire me and never fail to make me smile such profound words !!! I reallt need to read sone of the stuff you do as you seem such a rounded person and when we are rounded its so much easier to bounce along in life !

                  Phill great hard hiting stuff , think lots of us have had so many years of deluding ourselves that facing reality can be a daunting prospect !

                  And to end my view if you find what works for you hang onto it with both hands and dont give a tinkers cuss what anybody else thinks they dont live your life you do !

                      Good one 1967 ! this site makes my head hurt at times, so mny people so many points of view ! I personally dont care what people post if they are doing that and not picking up a drink then the purpose is achieved !

                            I interpret Phil's post as coming from a very wise and experienced being who I respect immensely. His posts were some of the first ones I read when I got there and I was blown away. I admire the fact that he can put into words so clearly and succinctly that which I think but am afraid to express. My problem and JMHO.

                              Fabulous posts, Phil & Chill (I liked #2 of yours, Chill - us sensitive souls need to take this to heart)!

                              Phil, what you said is a gigantic part of what worked for me - and believe me I spent years in denial in one form or another, said every morning "not tonight", etc - I wasn't here so no one saw it. To me that's what this place is for - to get help with an alcohol problem. I'm forever grateful to those truth tellers I met my first day here. I am sober because I listened, whether I liked what they said or not. "See what works & do it".
