For me, I hit my rock bottom 2 weeks ago and am happy to be sober (even though it is the early stages). I am so thankful for everyone here.
Thanks for the post!Every day is a day to start over and remember that I am powerless over my addiction. I will no longer give the BEAST any power over me - he can go straight to hell.

I love going to friends houses for dinner and looking forward to a good evening with good company rather than worrying that there might not be enough to drink and if we would start drinking straight away or did I need a drink before going etc etc.
I love coming home from those evenings with a big smile on my face because I've had a great time and will feel fine in the morning. Suz
