Good morning lovelies

Gosh its so nice to be back on the old Mac again. I missed her
Well, now I feel rested and enthusiastic again. I didnt realise quite how exhausted I was until a few days into my holiday. I must watch that in future.

At the tail end of last nights thread a couple of films were mentioned. I really want to make time to watch movies again. Spud you talked about Betty Blue? Whats it about?

Morning early birds. Starty I wasnt overly impressed with There Will Be Blood last night after expecting great things but the performance of Daniel Day-Lewis was terrific. I watched 'In Brugge" last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed that though.

No, I am not a big fan of French films, bit of a duffer when it comes to sub titles.
But I guess I am missing out?

I love foreign films, that is one of the best. I find after two minutes I forget I am reading, bit like a book. Do yourself favour and give 'Jean de Florette' a try. Then you will be rushing to see 'Manon des Sources' which is the second part of the story. I was blown away by the ending in the first film and anyone used to the typical hollywood fare will be as well.

Well now you are one person who knows how to broaden their horizons. Thing with films is, it is like recommending a book or a meal, everyone has such widely differing tastes. But in my opinion we all need to taste/try different things to enrich our lives. We may not like it till we try it, shucks sure I never thought I would ever enjoy a sober life.

Good morning! Hope you are all doing well. Had a great night sleep 'I guess I was tired after all that crying yesterday) and feel much better this morning. Those are great movies you mentioned KTAB. Have you seen the trilogy-Blue, Blanc et Rouge? The director made a film for each colour. Blue is my favorite with Juliette Binoche.
