      Yeehaw: I'm at work nice and early. That means I get to leave nice and early. The idea is to try and give the traffic a bit of a miss. I just cannot continue spending 2 1/2 hours a day in commuter hell.

        Hey ho! I'm a little out of touch with army stuff and don't know what's going on with your mom, starty!! Sending hugs and good vibes though!

        Had coffee too late and I'm wandering around yawning. I remember when I used to do this EVERY night but not because of coffee!

        Tips - yes that's way too much time to spend in transit!

          My commute is 15 minutes, tops. I will never be able to go back to the long commute. Public transportation doesn't work for you, eh?

                Nope, not at all

                Nice to see you here, Phoenix!

                We're simply a bunch of people who fight AL together. Hence the Army moniker. It has nothing to do with the military, though!

                    Our public transport infrastructure is fairly poor, Phoenix

                    I live in a small town about 60km outside Cape Town, but my office is right in the CBD. If you travel at peak times, you can really get stuck.

                    This morning, it took me 35 minutes to get into work. I'll see how it goes this afternoon. I used to do it this way a few years ago, and it worked very well.

                    I am a sickly shade of green (almost like little Tiggs looked after his binge) when I hear about short commutes...
